Slow Down Aging with These Simple Steps

Few of us would want to be 20 again, but it sure would be nice to feel like we were 20, or at least a few decades younger. A recent story from the website Eat This, Not That! offers seven tips to help slow down aging.

First, let’s make one thing clear: There’s a lot to like about getting older: wisdom, confidence and other attributes that come from knowing ourselves and understanding our skills; benefits that usually come after decades of life.

What isn’t so great are health issues, pain and broken relationships. We know, there’s a lot of advice out there and much of it sounds the same: eat less, exercise more, keep up with medical screenings. This story expands beyond the usual tips and offers up a few that we don’t typically talk about.

In short, the people you surround yourself with, the places you choose to live, and the care you give to your body can work together to slow the worst aspects of aging while enhancing the best things about getting older.
