CIFF Returns In Person with its Get Shorty Event

The Cleveland International Film Festival will present its highly anticipated and one-of-a-kind event, Get Shorty, sponsored by Huntington, on Friday, February 25 in the Mimi Ohio Theatre at Playhouse Square. After two years of presenting events online, Get Shorty will mark the Festival’s in-person return.

“The Get Shorty program is a fun, interactive way for people to help select the short films that will be presented at the upcoming Cleveland International Film Festival,” says Sean Richardson, regional president of Huntington Bank. “We are long-time fans of the festival and proud to partner with CIFF to present this unique cultural event for Cleveland residents.”

“We are deeply grateful for Huntington’s continued and generous support of Get Shorty and the Cleveland International Film Festival. Together we get to welcome film lovers to our first in-person event in two years. And we can’t wait,” says Marcie Goodman, CIFF Executive Director.

An audience favorite for nearly two decades, Get Shorty offers film fans something they typically do not have a chance to do – help program CIFF.

The Festival is presenting the event in two ways:
