Boomer Impact Awards Finalists Announced

In celebration of our fifth anniversary this fall, Northeast Ohio’s magazine for Boomers has selected three Impact Awards finalists who represent the best of our region’s innovators making a positive impact in the lives of people 50+.

All three finalists will be featured, and a winner announced, in our September/October 2020 issue. The finalists are:

  • Kathryn Eyring, creator, host and producer of Aging Gracefully TV
  • Tracey Mason, administrator of Cuyahoga County Division of Senior and Adult Services
  • Karen Talbott, facilitator of Leadership Akron NEXT, a program that enables experienced leaders to find new ways to continue to give back to their community post-career

Dedicating to Better Living After 50, Northeast Ohio Boomer and Beyond magazine is marking its fifth anniversary with the inaugural Boomer & Beyond Impact Awards.

Brad Mitchell, the publisher of Northeast Ohio Boomer & Beyond, explains, “We want to recognize individuals and organizations who are innovators and leaders making a transformative difference in the lives of our region’s older adults.”

From housing to healthcare, employment, recreation and more, the nominees submitted earlier this year by readers represented a wide range of people who creatively address the needs of people 50+.

Northeast Ohio Boomer and Beyond is distributed free at more than 650 locations throughout a seven-county region. To learn more, visit northeastohiothrive.com
