Celebrate the beauty of autumn and the rich traditions of 19th-century farm life in the Cuyahoga Valley at Hale Farm & Village’s Harvest Festival Oct. 4–5 and Oct. 11–12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The harvest season was central to the Hale family’s life, as it was for farm families across the Western Reserve. Autumn meant gathering crops, preserving food for the winter, and celebrating the harvest with family and neighbors. Today, Hale Farm & Village continues to honor these traditions, inviting visitors to share in the same spirit of community and gratitude.
This year, the farm welcomes back the Harvest Festival 5K and Kids Donut Dash on Saturday, Oct. 11, at 9 a.m. Runners will wind their way through the historic village, creating a one-of-a-kind race experience that blends fitness, fun, and history.
Guests are invited to immerse themselves in the vibrant sights, sounds, and tastes of the season. Hale Farm’s skilled artisans and storytellers will showcase their talents around the hearth, at the loom, furnace, kiln, and plow, bringing to life the trades and crafts that shaped early American life.

Historic cooking demonstrations
Wagon rides provided by Trail Light Farms
