Fairmount Center for the Arts, a non-profit community center for the arts, is pleased to announce its 45th annual juried art exhibition! The arts exhibition will be open from 10AM-4PM Monday-Saturday with additional hours from 6PM-8PM on Tuesdays. There will also be a closing reception and Fairmount 500 raffle drawing (with a chance to win $15,000!) from 6:30PM-9PM on August 26th. This exhibition and closing reception are free and open to the general public.

This Sensational Saturdays workshop for beginners covers the basics of blending, layering, and shading using colored pencils. There will be approx. 1 hour of discussion and exercises, followed by 1 hour of drawing an apple from direct observation, with individual instructor input.
