Winemaking, Music-Making & More are in Boomer’s July/August Issue

- in Uncategorized

You can’t say we don’t cover a lot of territory in Northeast Ohio Boomer and Beyond.

Our July/August issue, which comes out this week, has stories ranging from home winemaking to local Alzheimer’s research. And our cover has a special surprise: a Cleveland-area musician who’s left his mark world-wide with a nod to his deep Northeast Ohio roots.

Like festivals and car shows? We have a list of some of our favorites, plus a ton of events to get you through the rest of the summer now that many of us are venturing out again. Welcome back!

And did you know that Cleveland researchers are at the forefront of Alzheimer’s research through a cooperative effort among the region’s healthcare heavy hitters? They’re looking for volunteers, too, so you don’t need to own a lab coat to participate in this vital research.

Our food expert tells us how to get the most out of our grills. Hint: start with a clean one. And if you’re still struggling with technology after a year of online gatherings, shopping, meetings and medical appointments, our tech columnist myth-busts common issues. For starters, you won’t break your computer.

And if you’re tired of streaming movies from the so-so comfort of your living room, we’ve got a list of good ones coming out this summer that are worth a trip to your local cinema. By the way, the popcorn is better there, too.

Hope you like what we’ve come up with for our July/August issue. Don’t forget that if you’d like the magazine mailed to your home, just sign up for our Boomer Insider Club at northeastohiothrive.com.

Enjoy!
