The 19th Amendment at 100; Make Plans Now to Vote

What better way to mark the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment than by making sure your vote counts this November?

The amendment was ratified on Aug. 17, 1920. The Cleveland League of Women Voters (now League of Women Voters of Greater Cleveland) formed in May of that same year.

With an emphasis on voter access and education, the League does not endorse candidates; it promotes voter access, registration and edition. To learn more about how to register to vote, to become a poll worker or to request a mail-in ballot for the November election, go to the official Ohio elections website at ohiosos.gov/elections/voters.
