Summertime is typically so full of festivals, fairs and celebrations, it’s impossible to keep up. 2020 is remarkably different, due to all of the coronavirus-related cancelations. Now we have a hard time finding anything to do.
But ohiofestivals.net is here to remind us that a sprinkling of festivals is scheduled throughout July in the greater Cleveland area and there’s one in the Akron/Canton area, as well. Some are virtual, others are drive-throughs; all have had to adapt to the constraints of the day. Just remember to always check festival information before attending, as everything is subject to change.

In the Akron/Canton area, The Canton Greek Fest has replaced its traditional celebration of Greek culture, religion, food, wine, dancing, shopping and history for a drive-through dining experience.
The drive-through is open for three days each month this summer. For July, order ahead to pick up delicious Greek food on July 4, 5 and 6. August dates are August 27, 28 and 29. We all have to adapt to the times but, as this festival schedule reminds us, we don’t have to leave fun behind this summer.
