Stream (Scream?) Scary Movies for Free from Your Library

Our friends at the Cuyahoga County Public Library are offering up a scary movie lineup, just in time for Halloween.

If you’re not familiar with CCPL (and other public library’s) terrific, free services, then you’re missing out. Their streaming—and screaming—partners at Kanopy have compiled a list of dreadfully fun films to get you in the Halloween spirit. They’re free to stream with your library card through both the CCPL and most other public libraries.

To get you in the Halloween spirit, their movie list includes “Piranha,” “Motel Hell,” “It Comes at Night,” and other scary offerings.

Movies are just one of the many free offerings at our public libraries. You can download current issues of magazines, read newspapers for free, get book suggestions and attend lectures by popular authors. Check out your local library’s website to learn more. Librarians are happy to help you get online and download movies, books, magazines and more.
