Mind Challenge Kicks Off Annual Tournament with Record Number of Teams

The 2025 Mind Challenge, a team trivia tournament for active older adults, is kicking off its 7th season with a record number of teams, 120 representing 71 cities throughout Northeast Ohio. Competition begins this week.

New cities coming on board this year include North Canton, Wickliffe, Avon, Massillon, Hubbard and Brunswick. This year’s semi-finals and final rounds will be held on May 28 and 29 at the Donna Smallwood Senior Center in Parma and will feature Ohio Democratic gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton as the keynote speaker at the May 29 finals.

Sheffield Lake will be returning to defend its title, vying for the $ 2,500 first-place prize money.
