Come to Punch Bowl Social for its Solar Eclipse Party from 1-4:30 p.m. for epic views of the solar eclipse, which reaches totality at 3:15 p.m. You’ll be gifted a pair of snazzy solar eclipse glasses to protect your eyes when you do what your mother always warned you not to and stare at the sun as the moon does its thing, blocking out the sun for a spectacular cosmic show.
Arrive as early as 1 p.m. to shop from some of Cleveland’s hottest local vendors. You’ll be greeted by a solar-themed playlist (my money’s on Total Eclipse of the Heart being played during totality). Hang out while the sun shifts back to normal for patio drinks and shareable snacks with friends.
