She was the first queen of Pharaoh Ramesses II. Queen Nefertari Merytmut’s tomb was discovered in 1904 and was called “the Sistine Chapel of Ancient Egypt.”
If you can’t head to Egypt’s Valley of the Queens to see the ruins, come to Euclid Public Library on October 25, 2:00 pm-4:00 pm, slip on virtual reality headsets, and explore how this beautifully decorated tomb looked when it was first built. For teens and adults. Time: 1 minute.
