Celebrate the start of winter at our Winter Solstice Party Under the Stars–and you won’t need your coat! The fun will take place inside our library on December 21.
Beginning at 5 pm, experience the winter sky in all its wonder by doing a little indoor skygazing with virtual reality headsets providing a closer look at the planets and constellations. For adults and teens.
At 6 pm, members from the Cuyahoga Astronomical Association will guide us through a lively talk about what to expect in the night sky during the winter months. Warm and cozy refreshments will be served throughout the evening, ensuring that everyone stay warm while learning about the cosmos! The group will also be discussing the upcoming 2024 solar eclipse and answering all your stargazing questions! Be there to explore the winter sky like never before. The 6p event is for all ages.
