Cool Off at Free Metroparks Beaches

If you’re not lucky enough to have a pool, know someone who does, or belong to a community pool, it can be tough to find a good place to cool off when air conditioning and a fan aren’t cutting it.

One alternative: Cleveland Metroparks’ free or nearly-free swimming areas. The good news is that many have lifeguards, too, and are open for a few more weeks.

For a full list of options, including water quality alerts that affect beach closures, go to the Cleveland Metroparks website.
