Think you know Cleveland? Think again.
Cleveland Stories Dinner Parties is a free, weekly series of storytellers (with a dinner option) that dives deep into the city’s history. Offered through the Cleveland History Center of the Western Reserve Historical Society, CSDP features gifted storytellers who will talk about mobsters, sports stars, our burning river and other subjects that weave together the vibrant tapestry of Cleveland’s history.
From now through the end of May, the Music Box Supper Club at 1148 Main Ave., hosts the series each Wednesday. All ages are welcome. Doors open at 5 p.m., the storytelling starts at 7 each evening. Interested in dinner? Make reservations for a pre-fixe three-course dinner for $20.
The Cleveland History Center is the only museum in the city dedicated to preserving and documenting the history of Cleveland. It includes two mansions, the Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum, Chisholm Halle Costume Wing, a research library, Kidzibits Hands-On Gallery, rotating exhibitions and the Euclid Beach Park Grand Carousel.
