We’re putting the final touches on our Boomer Bash West, and it wouldn’t be a celebration without you. Why not stop by from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. at LaCentre in Westlake on Wednesday, May 1 to see what Northeast Ohio Boomer and Beyond has planned for people 50+?
We’ll have music, plenty of vendors who can answer your questions about their services and products for Boomers, free food samples, a cash bar, a photo booth and other entertainment. No one else puts on an event quite like the Bash.
Stop by our authors’ table to meet the magazine’s tech columnist Tak Sato and our pop culture columnist Mike Olszewski. We’re also bringing other authors in who will sell and sign their books. Ready to meet Bash-goers are Neil Zurcher of “One Tank Trips” fame, sports reporter Dan Coughlin with his latest book, “Just One More Story…A Last Batch of Stories About the Most Unusual, Eccentric and Outlandish People I’ve Known in Five Decades as a Sports Journalist,” and Lake Erie Islands series writer Bob Adamov.
We’ll also have raffles and prizes. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit OutRun Ovarian Cancer (OROC). OROC is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization that is dedicated to raising ovarian cancer awareness and money for research in Northeast Ohio.
