Autumn Trips, Leaf-Peeping and More

Autumn Trips, Leaf-Peeping and More

All of a sudden, it seems like we’re on the cusp of autumn. A tromp through the woods or a drive around town is all it takes to see signs of fall: an orange leaf or two on a tree, goldenrod bursting from roadside ditches.

We’ve got plenty of places to see incredible autumn foliage. Cleveland Metroparks, Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and our many city and county parks all put on a show that rival anything you might see in New England or the the Blue Ridge Mountains.

If you want to hit the road, SmokyMountains.com has an interactive fall foliage predictor map and explains why leaves change color.
