Everyday Akron and Elizabeth’s Bookshop & Writing Centre have teamed up once again to bring you another Grown-Up Book Fair! We’re serving up MORE old-school Book Fair bliss, while highlighting Black-owned businesses in Akron.
Join us on Saturday, February 24 from 11 am to 4 pm!
🌟 What’s new this time? 🌟
📍 Location: 647 E Market St (inside Compass Cafe—the home of Elizabeth’s brick-and-mortar store)
⏰ Longer Hours: You’ll have more time to drop by and experience the fun
😌 Sensory-Friendly Shopping Hour: We’re making the first hour of shopping Sensory-Friendly. Meaning lower lighting, quieter music, and fewer people. In order to limit the crowd, we ask that you only register for this shopping hour if you or you or anyone in your party requires a Sensory-Friendly environment. We promise we will have plenty of books and merch for all shoppers, all day long!
📚 Books by Elizabeth’s Bookshop & Writing Centre: An exciting variety of novels, cookbooks, humor, self-development books, and more to add to your TBR.
🛍️ Shop Black-owned businesses: Black Culture Candles, Bizzy Beads, Nuni Products, The Juice Hive, J. Travis and more
🎉 Even more fun: School picture selfie station, old school book fair bliss, and more
