Blackbrook Audubon invites everyone to their monthly walk at Chagrin River Park. As the local chapter of National Audubon Society, Blackbrook is monitoring avian life in this Lake Metropark property to benefit the Chagrin River Corridor IBA, or Important Bird Area. Everyone living within the Chagrin River watershed also lives in the IBA and has a role to play in supporting birds in their migration and breeding cycles.
Meet at 3100 Reeves Road off Lost Nation Road on the fourth Sunday of each month at 8 a.m. The walk is just over 1 mile on a level, paved path. We post the list of birds found on eBird.org.
