Holiday Entertaining: Share Your Tips for an Upcoming Story

Readers, I need your help.

I’m doing a story about holiday entertaining, and no one wants to hear about my hits and misses. I want to hear about yours.

When friends and family gather, what works best for food, keeping the conversation going, entertaining/occupying guests of all ages and other hosting details? We’re looking for budget-friendly hacks, energy-saving shortcuts (yours, not the power company’s), and ways to navigate the holiday season. After all, the holidays are supposed to be fun, right?

And while we’re at it, feel free to share your holiday entertaining failures, too. We’ve all got them, and I’ll bet our readers have some doozies. Let me know if you’d like to be part of our holiday story, and I’ll follow up with a phone call or email.

Not a public sort of person? No problem; drop me an email and share your tips without sharing your name. I only need your age and the community in which you reside.

Put “Holiday” in the subject line of your email so I can keep things straight. I’m looking forward to hearing from you, and our readers are, too.

The deadline for contributions is Oct. 10. Please send your suggestions to [email protected]

I’m still not used to seeing Halloween decorations popping up everywhere; Thanksgiving, Hannukkah, Christmas and New Year’s seem like a million weeks away. They aren’t. So get ready and let’s find a way to enjoy holiday entertaining that brings friends and family together while keeping true to the spirit of the season.
