If you aren’t playing pickleball, chances are you know someone who does. The YMCA of Greater Cleveland is aiming to improve access to the popular sport by recently opening its North Royalton Pickleball Center, a state-of-the-art facility that features four professional pickleball courts designed to accommodate players of all skill levels.
The new Pickleball Center, the YMCA says, will serve as a vibrant hub for the expanding pickleball community in the Greater Cleveland area and will be available exclusively to YMCA members and their guests.

Wednesday’s grand opening will feature free trial games, clinics and demonstrations. Whether attendees are experienced players or new to the sport, there will be activities for everyone to enjoy. Attendees can meet fellow pickleball enthusiasts, enjoy refreshments and take advantage of special giveaways.
Non-members attending the grand opening event will receive exclusive membership incentives, allowing them to experience all the benefits the YMCA of Greater Cleveland has to offer, including access to the new pickleball courts.
“We’re thrilled to bring this facility to the North Royalton community and look forward to seeing players of all ages and abilities come together to enjoy the sport of pickleball,” says Travis Wilson, Pickleball Director at the North Royalton Family YMCA.
