Wade Oval Wednesdays Return June 12

The popular free summer concert series returns to Wade Oval every Wednesday from June 12-Aug. 14, 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Here’s the lineup:

JUNE 12

Headliner: Councilman Conwell & The Footprints (Jazz)

Halftime: Cleveland Guardians Hotdog Mascots

JUNE 19 – JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION

Headliner: The Unit eXperience Project (Soul and R&B)

Pre-Show: Djapo Cultural Arts Institute, African Dance/Drumming
Halftime: Free Black! Rap duo

JUNE 26

Headliner: The Cleveland Orchestra (Classical)

In the event of adverse weather, The Cleveland Orchestra performance will move indoors to Severance Music Center (located across the street at 11001 Euclid Avenue Cleveland, OH 44106).

Pre-Show: Cleveland School of the Arts Student Band “Stix” and student vocalist
No halftime performance

JULY 3

AUGUST 14 – LGBTQ+ PRIDE

Halftime: Pride Zumba with Linda Hogan

Opening acts featuring up-and-coming local talent and intermission acts will accompany many shows. Returning for a third year are four cultural celebration nights that highlight Cleveland’s diverse communities, including Juneteenth (June 19), Disability Pride (July 24), Latinx Heritage (July 10) and LGBTQ+ Pride (Aug. 14). Each celebration night will highlight organizations and individuals that work in and represent these communities.

The concert series includes local food trucks and vendors, a beer & wine garden, and kid-friendly activities.
