SURF’S UP!
Sweet summertime has arrived in Northeast Ohio and we are more than ready to head out to the beach for good times, great music, free food and fun friends.
On June 29, you’ll find all of that (minus the beach) at Boomer Bash East 2023 – Beach Blanket Bash, 4-6 p.m. at Lavera in Willoughby Hills.
Cosponsored by Northeast Ohio Boomer magazine and Hospice of the Western Reserve, this fun-filled, throwback networking event will feature more than 50 vendors with products and services geared to folks aged 50+. Sip one of our signature cocktails (The Boomer Boss), munch on complimentary food samples, and let the music of the 1960s set the surfer-movie vibe.
Headlining the event with ‘60s-era beach-party dance music will be DJ Gary Perl, the former Party DJ for legendary Cleveland radio WGCL-98. He will bring us non-stop music and will even take requests, so have your favorite beach music song titles in mind. A Mayfield High School and OSU grad, Gary is a veteran in his field. He started his all-occasion DJ business, Gary Perl’s Rock-On DJ, over 30 years ago and is considered “Northeast Ohio’s top wedding and party DJ.”
But that’s not all! For your entertainment pleasure, we will also feature:
- Glam Photo Opportunities with Pure Image Photo Booth
- Raffles to win prizes, with proceeds going to support our selected local nonprofit organization, The Lake County Volunteer Network (LCVN), formally RSVP Lake County
- Small bite food samples from local restaurants
Advance (online) tickets cost $10, but tickets at the door will be $15 (CASH ONLY). Don’t forget to bring cash for the bar and our raffle. Raffle tickets are only $1 each and benefit our nonprofit partner.
