Thanks for the Bash That Was

Thanks for the Bash That Was

- in Bash Events, Fun

We went all out and had a groovin’ great time at our Sock Hop-themed Boomer Bash East 2022.

We want to thank everyone who attended on Oct. 13 at the Bertram Inn in Aurora, co-sponsored by Northeast Ohio Boomer and Global Meals.

Enjoy this video recap of the nifty ’50s Bash that was!

Hundreds of attendees, many dressed for our ‘50s Sock Hop, met up with old friends, made new ones, visited vendors, and danced and sang along with live music by Rick & Sharona. They posed at the photo booth, had their caricature sketched while they waited, nibbled on appetizers and sipped our signature cocktail. Nostalgia, ponytails, poodle skirts  and leather jackets enjoyed big comeback, thanks to everyone’s enthusiastic embrace of the ’50s theme.

Many also bid on dozens of valuable raffle prizes donated  by our generous  vendors. Thanks to all the collected proceeds, we were able to make a substantial donation to Transplant House of Cleveland, our charity of choice that provides a home away from home — affordable, temporary housing and a welcoming, supportive community — for organ transplant patients and their families.

We’re grateful to everyone who came, and we hope you had a great time. A special thanks to our sponsors and vendors.

Watch our website for the next Boomer Bash coming  in 2023. Meanwhile, enjoy the memories!
