And the survey says…

That’s the problem. We don’t know what it says. So we’re asking readers to complete a brief, confidential Boomer magazine survey to help us get to know you better.

It’s easy, it’s private, and everyone who participates will be entered to win a four-pack of tickets to the Sept. 18 Guardians baseball game. All entries also receive a complimentary ticket to the Boomer Bash event on October 13!

Re: Your Honoring Veterans story should be expanded in another article about Honor Flight Cleveland. I am an auxiliary life member of VFW Post 3345 in Strongsville, and have met veterans who have participated in this heart-warming venture. It’s more than a free trip to Washington DC and involves getting attendants to help these struggling veterans with wheelchair transport or other assistance on this journey. Various civic groups greet them with cheers and music when they arrive at Hopkins (at about 4 AM) to begin their journey. One veteran I know took the Honor Flight in May and was very emotional telling me about the experience. With my involvement with the American Legion and VFW, I may be a good source for future veteran information, such as the Aid and Attendance program for veterans and/or their spouses in need.

I’ve gone water skiing a few times over the years, and the only thing I remember is where my swimsuit bottom ended up when my backside hit the water. That’s probably not an issue for the Chippewa Lake Water Ski Show Team in Medina.
