We can too easily find ourselves glued to the television, joining the news station chorus on bemoaning the state of world affairs, because of what that other group is doing that is not right, by our own group’s definition. I don’t do Us and Them-ism anymore. I personally choose connection and understanding over cynicism and isolation.

Social Security Offices Re-Open Following COVID-19 Closures

Local Social Security offices will restore in-person services, including for people without an appointment, on Thursday, April 7, 2022. Kilolo Kijakazi, Acting Commissioner of the Social Security Administration, made this announcement following a period of COVID-19 precautions that had kept Social Security offices closed for several months.
