Farming Fungi at Home

Have fun with fungi and learn an easy way to grow oyster mushrooms at home!
Start with a brief introduction of different ways to cultivate edible mushrooms before a hands-on experience with pink oyster spawn. Each participant will make a 5-gallon bucket for fruiting their own mushrooms. All tools and supplies will be provided.
Located at the Kitchen Garden.
Please note this program will take place outdoors in an area with limited shade. The Kitchen Garden is approximately 0.25 miles from the Botanical Garden entrance. In the case of a downpour, the program will relocate indoors.
