A vibrant event that celebrates creativity and community engagement, featuring sidewalk artistry by professional chalk artists and local community groups, families, and individuals. The museum’s south plaza and walkways will be used as a colorful canvas. The festival is open to anyone and attendees can purchase a pavement square at the registration tent, which includes chalk pastels suitable for the museum’s pavement. The event is free to observe, and live outdoor music is provided by Ropa Vieja. Food trucks are available. 12-5 p.m. FREE
