The 2025 Mind Challenge, a team trivia tournament for active older adults held at recreation and senior centers throughout Northeast Ohio will host Dr. Amy Acton, Democratic candidate for the governor of Ohio and a healthcare advocate will deliver the Keynote address at the 2025 Mind Challenge Finals at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 29.
The Mind Challenge Finals will be played at the Donna Smallwood Senior Center in Parma. Co-Founders Art Greenberg and Phil Levine say,“ We are thrilled to have Dr. Acton speak to the seniors prior to our finals competition. Her remarks, open to the public, will no doubt leave a lasting impression on the seniors and guests who attend.”
The 2025 Mind Challenge began its 7th year in April with a record number of teams,120, and 71 cities competing.
New cities participating this year include North Canton, Wickliffe, Avon, Hubbard and
Brunswick.
The winning team receives $ 2,500 for their respective recreation or senior center. The second-place gets $1,500; third-place team gets $ 1,000, and the fourth-place team receives $500.
