Cleveland Film Festival Lineup, Ticket Details

A sure sign that spring is almost here: the Cleveland International Film Festival.

The 49th annual Cleveland International Film Festival returns to Playhouse Square from March 27 to April 5. The CIFF website allows you to take a peek at the lineup and plan your week. The festival is followed by CIFF Streams from April 6 to 13.

This year’s festival features a lineup of 300 independent films from around the world.

More than 3,500 films were submitted for consideration, representing 60 countries offering diverse cultural perspectives,s storytelling styles and visual formats.

This year’s program, curated from over 3,500 submissions, is a testament to the power of independent filmmaking. With representation from 60 countries, the program schedule offers diversity in cultural perspectives, storytelling styles, and visual formats.

“The Festival is an opportunity for artists and audiences to connect and converse about the stories that move us – often these are stories we wouldn’t have access to if not for the Festival,” says CIFF artistic director Mallory Martin.

Several filmmakers are expected to attend the festival.

Ticket Sales: Purchase tickets online at clevelandfilm.org, by phone at 1.877.304.FILM, or in person starting Friday, March 7 at 11 a.m. for members and Friday, March 14 at 11 a.m for the public. Tickets can also be purchased on site at the Film Festival Box Office in the KeyBank State Theatre Lobby at Playhouse Square (based on seat availability).
