“Cleveland Boomer Memories” Celebrates a Long-Ago Era

With more than 200 photos and the stories that go with them, “Cleveland Boomer Memories” by Clevelanders Howard A. Zuckerman and Ellen N. Jacob captures what it was like to grow up in Cleveland during the 1950s and 1960s.

From Barnaby to Euclid Beach Park and other Cleveland favorites, the book brings to life an era of neighborhood ice cream trucks, transistor radios, summer evenings at Edgewater Park and more.

Among the highlights are iconic Cleveland landmarks; vintage TV programs and personalities; and local fashion, foods and fads that defined a generation… a time capsule for people who love Cleveland history.

Each book purchase comes with an interactive and printable photo book. The printable digital book is available to those who purchase the book and take a selfie with it, and email the photo and a book review to [email protected].

All proceeds go to the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance and the Alzheimer’s Association. For more information, go to clevelandboomermemories.com.
