Cavaliers Wine & Goldies Tryouts

Boomer featured the Wine & Goldies Cavaliers dance team in our January/February issue this year. If they sounded fun (and they are!) then why not consider trying out for the team?
Here are the details.
  • Registration: 10 a.m.  on Sunday, July 31st.
  • Audition: 10:45 a.m.- 12:45 p.m.
  • Location: Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
  • All candidates must be 18 years of age or older by August 1, 2022. (THERE ARE NO OTHER AGE REQUIREMENTS).
  • All candidates will be asked to demonstrate dance, performance and speaking skills.
  • Candidates must be willing to devote a large percentage of time to the Wine and Goldies. program, including team practices once a week and roughly 8 Cavaliers home games.
  • Prepare to learn a simple yet fun dance routine and perform the routine in front of the judges panel that same day.
  • There will be a freestyle portion of this audition.
  • NO SPECTATORS WILL BE PERMITTED TO STAY DURING AUDITION.
  • Please wear something comfortable you can dance in that also shows your individual style!
  • Note- Please keep bags to a minimum to expedite security check.
