More about Case-Barlow Farm – A Glimpse into History
Founded in 1814 by Chauncey and Cleopatra Case, Case Barlow Farm is a living testament to Hudson’s rich history. The Case family managed the farm for almost 100 years until Hattie Case married Franklin Barlow. The Barlow family farmed for another 100 years. As their years of farming came to a close in the late 1900s, the Barlows sold the pasture and cropland for a variety of uses, including the sites of Joann Fabrics, Little Tikes and Barlow Farm Park. Case-Barlow Farm, with its iconic red barn, is one of the most familiar landmarks in Historic Hudson.
