Boomer’s May/June Issue Transports You to ‘Great Escapes’ Close to Home

May/June2020 Boomer cover
Welcome to the May/June 2020 issue of Northeast Ohio Boomer & Beyond magazine! Our theme for spring is “Great Escapes,” which meant something different to us before the coronavirus pandemic overtook our best-laid plans. In response to the shutdowns, lockdowns and stay-close-to-home guidelines, we adapted the theme to fit the demands of this time. So you will find ‘great escapes’ closer to home… in your kitchen; in your garden; and at islands, beaches and ledges throughout Northeast Ohio.
You will also find inspiring local personalities, starting with our couple on the cover, Woodmere’s Ben and Joyce Holbert. Also, don’t miss the message of local bluesman Austin ‘Walkin’ Cane’ Charanghat, who knows his way around adversity. Much, much more awaits you, all geared toward Better Living After 50.

We’re also working with neighborhood libraries to make magazines available at drive-up windows and via curbside pick-up. We also continue to expand the number of magazines available through Marc’s, Discount Drug Mart and Giant Eagle stores.
