Join us for a welcoming, hands-on crafting event for adults who want to make time for creativity and community! June 18th is our first meetup of the summer, and to get a good headcount we suggest that you purchase tickets in advance.
Bring your own project or try something new with our materials and tools. Not sure where to start? Your ticket includes a crochet or embroidery starter kit to get you going. While there’s no set project or instructor for these meetups, we promise a supportive, inclusive environment where we help each other, share ideas and enjoy the creative process together.
Tickets are $14 per person and include your choice of a crochet or embroidery starter kit to take home. We will meet on the covered porch of the Fuller House on the BAYarts campus, located at 28795 Lake Road in Bay Village, Ohio. After your first even you’ll receive a coupon code for $2 additional ticket purchases throughout the summer.
Neon Heron Craft Community is a master’s thesis project produced by Marissa Siebert, a candidate in the MA Creative Business Leadership program at Savannah College of Art and Design. The project itself explores how open-ended studio experiences and creative community spaces can help adults build confidence and connection through crafting.
