Living in the Digital World Senior Expo, May 15

The 9th Annual Living in the Digital World Senior Expo & Conference will be held Thursday, May 15, 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., at the Rocky River Civic Center, 21016 Hilliard Blvd. Brought to the public by the Center for Aging in the Digital World, this will be a free event, as are all of the nonprofit’s educational offerings. The purpose of this expo is to raise digital literacy awareness among older adults. Northeast Ohio Thrive After 55 is the proud media sponsor of this event.

During the expo, “Our Discover Digital Literacy! program alumni are piloting our new intergenerational engagement program, TEENS & SENIORS POWER UP, with students from the North Olmsted High School Service Learning Program,” says Tak Sato, president and co-founder of Center for Aging in the Digital World, who will facilitate the expo along with his wife, Mely.

Attend the All About QR Code workshop (with or without your smartphone); talk to exhibitors; reconnect with friends; and satiate your curiosity on artificial intelligence at the AI & Seniors panel discussion, where collective wisdom paves the way for a better tomorrow.

Registration at the door opens at 9:30 a.m. with light refreshments and exhibitor visits. Find more information at empowerseniors.org or call 440-787-2020.
