Cleveland – Car Capital of the World

Remember when Cleveland was the automobile capital of the world? No? Well it was. In the early 20th century, Cleveland was home to more than 30 car factories. White Motor Company, Baker Motor Vehicle Company and Winton Motor Carriage Company are all part of the early automotive industry that Cleveland can claim to its history. Wednesday March 27th from 7:00-8:00pm, join Solon Library and the Western Reserve Historical Society for a look at the 20th century automotive industry and discover a treasure trove of Cleveland-made vehicles.
