Audubon Cruises to Conneaut

Blackbrook Audubon will bird the lakeshore for early migrants starting in Conneaut Harbor. Participants will scan the open water and mudflats for shorebirds and waterfowl on their way to northern breeding grounds. Conneaut Harbor is the eastern-most stop on the Ohio Lake Erie Birding Trail. The group will proceed to Walnut Beach in Ashtabula to check for land birds such as hermit thrush, kinglets and swallows. Bring binoculars, a spotting scope if available and dress for the weather as this trip is held rain or shine.
