Wrap Up the Summer with a County Fair

What’s summer without a visit to a county fair? For me, nothing beats eating a big, sugary elephant ear while walking through a poultry barn. Your fair experience may be different: the flower exhibits, baby goats and the milkshake barn come to mind, for a start.

Here’s a rundown of the fairs coming up now through the fall.

August 5-10

Ashtabula County Fairgrounds. This year’s event promises to have something for everyone with exciting grandstand shows, 4-H livestock events, draft horses, contests for the young and young-at-heart, delicious food, and more. August 4-10

August 17-24
