Ohio State Fair Hosting Healthy Aging Expo, July 29

The Ohio Department of Aging’s (AGE) annual health and wellness expo at the Ohio State Fair is back and bigger than ever in 2025. With a new location, more than 3,000 square feet of space, and a record number of partners, this year’s newly renamed Healthy Aging Expo is the centerpiece for fairgoers age 60+ on Senior Day July 29.

The Healthy Aging Expo runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission to the Ohio State Fair is free that day for anyone age 60 and older. General parking is $10, but free park-and-ride options are also available.

Senior Day will also feature a free concert from Sixteen Candles – a 1980s pop music tribute band – at the Celeste Center beginning at 1 p.m.

This year’s Expo will take place on the Cardinal Patio, which is just in between the north entrance to the SkyGlider ride and Kasich Hall. Signage will guide fairgoers to the expo.

At the Healthy Aging Expo, Ohioans will have access to free health screenings, wellness demonstrations, giveaways, and lifestyle programs promoting independence provided by state and community partners.

  • Vision screening
  • Long-term care guidance
  • Assistive technologies
  • Investment protection
  • Medicare
  • Veterans Affairs enrollment
  • Nutrition education
