What a Blast We Had at Bash West 2026 – Margaritaville!

A Thrive Bash isn't just an event. It's part of a movement.

Did you attend our first Bash of the year? It wasn’t just a wonderful event. It was part of a local movement that brings adults aged 55+ together for great times, meaningful connections and access to local resources that support enrichment, wellness and lifelong vitality. Produced by Northeast Ohio Thrive, The Bash blends live entertainment with informational experiences and community engagement while enjoying food, fun and fabulous themes… and it’s FREE!

It takes a community of enthusiastic partners to bring it all together. Maragaritaville Bash West 2026 was co-sponsored by Downsize and Thrive. Thanks to prime entertainer The Island Doctor, participants and vendors rocked and swayed to live island music while networking at La Centre Conference & Banquet Facility in Westlake on April 30.

We want to thank all who came to enjoy the music and dancing, great food and drink, socializing, giveaways, raffles, interactive entertainment, valuable resources and friendly representatives from nearly 50 local businesses and organizations that help you and your loved ones thrive after 55.

The Island Doctor kept everyone entertained.
Mick from Downsize & Thrive gave a great presentation.

Proceeds from the event raffles went to our charitable partner, Greater Cleveland Volunteers, a local organization that recruits adult volunteers to serve with numerous nonprofit organizations throughout Cuyahoga County. They assist volunteers in finding the right opportunities to serve our community based on their interests, skills and availability.

A special shoutout goes to our generous sponsors and vendors who helped make this event a huge success with helpful resources, financial support, donated items, delicious food, helpful service and much more. Our Silver Sponsors included O’Neill Healthcare, Global Meals, Eden Vista-Stow and Maple Ridge senior living communities, and Seniors Guide. Our Bronze Sponsors were Kabb Elder Law & Care Firm and Saint Therese senior living.
