ThriveTalk Episode 7: A Chat with Thrive Publisher Brad Mitchell

Now that we’re a few episodes into our newly launched ThriveTalk video podcast, it’s a good time to introduce you to the person behind Thrive After 55 magazine: Brad Mitchell of Mitchell Media.

Brad wears a lot of hats. He’s the founder of both Northeast Ohio Parent and Thrive magazines (originally called Northeast Ohio Boomer & Beyond), along with the annual special needs publication LiveSpecial (with the National Council of Jewish Women/Cleveland), and Walden Life.

The company sponsors Thrive’s popular Bash events throughout the year and has recently partnered with a national company to provide a Northeast Ohio Senior Directory starting early this year.

Thrive editor Marie Elium talks with Brad about the value of providing compelling, entertaining and helpful information to the fastest-growing demographic in Northeast Ohio: older adults.

We hope you enjoy the podcast. And we have a bonus for a lucky viewer/listener: the first person to email Marie and comment about the podcast or suggest a story idea gets a free one-year home delivery subscription to Thrive magazine.
