Things are Getting Wild in Geauga County

If you’re looking for a fun distraction, head over to the Geauga Park District website to see a list of local wildlife sightings.

Better yet, take a drive over to one of the county’s many parks and see wildlife for yourself, then go to the website geaugaparkdistrict.org/wildlife-sightings to record what you saw and where you saw it.

If you live in Geauga County, backyard sightings are great, too, and can be included on the website list.

Cooper’s hawks, bald eagles (adult and juvenile), mourning cloak butterflies and other critters have made the list recently. Consider it a low-pressure scavenger hunt and spend an hour or two in one of  Geauga’s 25 county parks or on one of its 70+ trails.
