The Strongsville Branch Library and the Strongsville Historical Society will host Jim Sweeney, author of local best-seller What’s the Deal with Dead Man’s Curve and Other Really Good Questions About Cleveland, who will deliver a talk about Cleveland history through answering the questions that have plagued Greater Clevelanders — natives and newcomers alike — for years. He will address questions like, “Why doesn’t Cleveland State have a football team” and “Why is Dead Man’s Curve so poorly designed?” This presentation is part of the Strongsville Historical Society’s commemoration of the 250th anniversary of American independence.
