In Matthew 25, Jesus lists many of the ways we can love our neighbor: giving food to the hungry, welcoming the stranger, clothing the naked, taking care of the sick, and visiting the prisoner. Join facilitator Rev. Joanna D’Agostino where we will learn about the way some people of faith are responding to the challenging call to “visit the prisoner” through Restorative Justice Circles in correctional institutions. Restorative Justice practices can be used in a variety of settings and relationships to create lasting transformation and break cycles of harm for victims, offenders, and the community.
