The Village at Marymount Hosts Inaugural Matriarch Muscle Machine Mania Car Show

1967 Ford Thunderbird or $10,000 Cash Top Prize of Raffle During July 15 Event

Car buffs of classic and modern vehicles will flex their collective muscles when they roar into The Village at Marymount for the inaugural Matriarch Muscle Machine Mania Car Show.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 15 and feature such categories as classic and modern muscle; convertible; custom; daily driver; under construction; hot rod; classic and modern truck; and imported Euro.

Those attending the car show will be treated to music by DJ Spikeman and the chance to bid on and win a variety of Chinese auction raffle basket. Food will be available for purchase from Rascal House Pizza.

The highlight of the show will be the chance to win a 1967 Ford Thunderbird, courtesy of North Coast Muscle Car, or $10,000 cash, in a raffle that will benefit The Village at Marymount. Second prize is a 55-inch flat screen color television, and third prize is a $200 Giant Eagle gift card. Raffle tickets are just $50 each, and the winner need not be present to win. The T-bird is a California car with no rust and less than 50,000 original miles. Its rebuilt 390 cubic inch engine and C-6 automatic transmission make this vehicle a true muscle classic. The T-bird also has a new fuel tank, braking system, new tires, and features a stunning turquoise finish and come with its original Marti Report.

Exhibitors can register a car for $5 in advance or $10 on the day of the show. They will receive a custom designed T-shirt courtesy of North Coast Muscle Car, and a custom dashboard plate.

“We’re hoping to have at least 100 cars entered in the show,” said Liz Pencak, The Village at Marymount’s Director of Marketing and Clinical Liaison. “This car show is certain to be one of the most talked-about shows of the summer.”

Three celebrity judges, to be announced, will help to determine the winners in each class, and Best of Show. The Village at Marymount, North Coast Muscle Car, and Rascal House Pizza sponsor the event.
