CCS’s annual cello ensemble extravaganza and fundraiser. This year’s theme: Cello + 1 (or 2 ) presents a collection of duos and trios scored for cello and other instruments performed exclusively by members of The Cleveland Orchestra – eight cellists [ Mark Kosower (principal), Richard Weiss (assistant principal), Martha Baldwin, Ralph Curry, Bryan Dumm, Tanya Ell, Dane Johansen and Brian Thornton] plus an assortment of other instrumentalists, including Will Bender (viola), Katherine Borman (violin), Mary Kay Fink (flute), Elisha Nelson (viola), Frank Rosenwein (principal oboe), and Charles Paul (assistant principal bass).
For the grand finale, these notable cellists will perform a notable cello octet!
TICKETS: General admission $35. Student $10. Patron $100.
