Paul Goebbel brings his historical story telling skills to the Solon Library for a special Harpers Ferry presentation on Wednesday, February 6th from 7:00-8:00pm. Five Who Chose Freedom explores the story of five African Americans that chose to join John Brown at Harpers Ferry, how they arrived at this decision and why they put their fates in the hands of this leader. Goebbel, a historical presenter with a background in education, has always had an active interest in history finding the real story of an event more interesting than the textbook presentation.
