Summer weekends tend to fill up; and before you know it, the season is over.
That’s why we’re giving you plenty of notice for one of our favorite free events of the summer: the Cleveland GardenWalk
Now in its 15th year, the Walk is set for 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12.
Featured neighborhoods on Saturday are: Collinwood, Fairfax, Glenville, Hough, West Park/Kamms, West Park/Jefferson, Tremont and Ohio City.
Sunday neigbhborhoods are Clifton-Baltic Neighborhod of Edgewater, Detroit Shoreway, Little Italy, Old Brooklyn, Broadway and Slavic Village.
This year’s Cleveland GardenWalk is the most expansive in its history. The best part about the open gardens is that they feature yards tended by regular gardeners, not professional landscaping crews. Homeowners are often available to answer questions as visitors poke around their yards, inspecting unusual plants and creative flower combinations. You never know what you’ll see or what will inspire you.
