I love a live Christmas tree…in someone else’s house.
The challenge is time. From the moment the tree gets cut, the clock starts ticking down the weeks and days until the first needles start dropping. I like to put my trees (I have three) up early and keep them around well past New Year’s.
But no matter how many balsam candles I burn, I can’t capture the aroma of a fresh tree. I’ve chosen my path, and it doesn’t include a stroll around one of Northeast Ohio’s many Christmas tree farms.
